This section contains background information about the ProVision licensing scheme.
In Avaya's ProVision Product Subscription scheme, you can no longer buy the complete ProVision product; instead you buy a Subscription and lease the right to use the program for a period. At the end of the license period your installation of ProVision reverts to demo mode until you renew your license.
You can buy a license at any time through this website, please skip this if already ProVision is downloaded. The license entitles you to operate one copy of ProVision on one computer for the license period. At the end of this period the license expires and your copy of ProVision reverts to demo mode until you renew your license.

There are different licensing offers for Avaya BusinessPartners in various parts of the world. Please contact local Help Desk or Channel Manager to find out about the licensing offer that applies to you.
If you are an Avaya Associate you do not have to pay for your ProVision Product Subscription. When you order a license you will be asked to agree the terms and conditions.
No. You can download ProVision without obtaining a license, but it will only function in Demo Mode until you do obtain a license and use the key we will provide you to unlock your copy of ProVision. While in Demo Mode, the program features are disabled hence the system cannot actually be used to configure a switch. They are as follows:
- Printing
- Connection to a switch
- Archiving
- Enabling Subscription
You may unlock the full features of ProVision as required. You do so by entering the Locking Key that ProVision created when you first run the program. We use this and other information to generate the Subscription License key.
Entering the Subscription License Key into ProVision on your system will:
- Unlock the software features
- Set the subscription expiry date in to the software
- Enable you to upgrade to a newer version at any time
- Continue to use the ProVision software in demonstration mode
- Renew your subscription and regain all the features
