Registration & Login issues

Yes. You must first register with Avaya as a ProVision user to login to the ProVision support website.

Follow the New User? Register now link on the login page of the site to register. Once, you have submitted your details and registered, we will send you an email immediately containing the User ID and Password to login to the site.

To register,

  1. Click the New User? Register now link, then click the Avaya Associate or Contractor link to display the registration page.
  2. Enter your Global Handle.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. You will receive an email from Avaya containing your User ID and Password.
  5. Go to Login page, enter your User ID and Password and click Login.

To register as a BusinessPartner you have to nominate a person within your company who will act as the ProVision administrator. This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of your licensing arrangements with Avaya.

To register,

  1. Click the New User? Register now link on the login page, then click the Business Partner link to display the registration page.
  2. Enter your company details, then enter the name and contact details of your nominated administrator.
  3. Select Country and Preferred Language from the list.
  4. Click Submit.

Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email, that contains the User ID and Password, within 2 business days.

Click here if your company is already registered with ProVision.

Please contact ProVision Help Desk and share your Login ID or Company name. The representative will review your registration record and reset your password. You will receive an email containing your Login ID and Password.

If you have forgotten your password, please use Forgot Password link from Login Page to reset your password.

If you are unable to reset your password, please contact ProVision Help Desk.

Password issues

Make sure that you are using Internet Explorer 11 or later as well as you have Cookies and Javascript enabled in your browser

To enable Cookies and Javascript in Microsoft Internet Explorer,

  1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. To enable session cookies, select the Privacy tab
  3. From the Settings section of the tab, click Advanced.
  4. Locate and click the checkbox next to Always allow session cookies
  5. To enable JavaScripting, click the Security tab.
  6. Click the Custom Level button.
  7. From the Security Settings dialog, scroll through the options until you see Scripting.
  8. Check the radio buttons next to Enable Active Scripting and Scripting of Java applets.
  9. Click OK to accept scripting and cookie handling changes.
  10. From the Internet Options dialog, click Apply to effect settings then OK to close the dialog.

To enable Cookies and Javascript in Netscape,

  1. From Edit menu, select Preferences option.
  2. Click Advanced option.
  3. Click Accept all cookies.
  4. Make sure that all the checkboxes with word 'Java' in their title are selected.
  5. Click OK.

If you have already registered but now find that you cannot login, try entering your User ID and Password again. Make sure that you enter them in exactly the same way they were presented in the email sent.

If you are unable to log in with correct credentials, please contact ProVision Help Desk with the following details:

  • Full name
  • Global Handle (if you are an Avaya Associate or contractor)
  • Company name (if you are a BusinessPartner)
  • Email address
  • Contact phone number
  • The user ID and password we sent to you

If you have forgotten your password, click the Forgot Password? link on the login page. Your password will be reset and emailed to your registered email ID.

To change your password:

  1. Go to Settings -> Password Change.
  2. The Password Change page is displayed.
  3. Enter your current password in the Old Password field, then enter the details in New Password and Confirm Password fields.
  4. Click Save.
License issues

When you buy a license or the one administrator allocates to you, you will receive two emails as follows:

  • Contains your Product License Key and other email containing all the details of the license and the purchase.
  • Note: We recommend that you print these emails for future reference.

  • The Product License Key is displayed when ProVision Locking Code is entered to unlock the program.

If you have never used ProVision before, go to About ProVision -> Download. Follow the prompts displayed in process of downloading ProVision on your system.

There are two steps to download ProVision,

  1. Download the file.
  2. Install the program.

Step 1 — Downloading ProVision

Click on the required package. A new tab gets open with a Sharefile Link, then click on download. Your browser will prompt for a location to download the file. You can download the file to the directory at present.

Step 2 — Installing ProVision

When the file has finished downloading on your system,

  1. Open Windows Explorer and go to the required directory of the downloaded file.
  2. Right-click on the file and select Run as Administrator to open the installation wizard.
  3. Follow the prompts to install the program.

The Locking code uniquely identifies this installation of ProVision on your computer through a combination of the serial numbers of various components.

Whenever you run ProVision in demo mode it displays a screen showing License Warning. You need to click on License Now button to see Subscription Activation window from where you can retrieve the Locking Code. When you buy a license from the ProVision website you will be asked to enter this Locking Code. After you enter the Locking Code, you will receive an email containing the corresponding License Key.

To take your copy of ProVision out of demo mode, copy the License Key from the email and paste it in the License Key field of the screen ProVision displays when you launch the program. When you click OK the License Key activates the currently disabled features.

Web site issues

The only aspect of your registration details is that you can change password. If you need to change any of the other details. For example, your email address. Please contact ProVision Help Desk.

Click Company Administration from the menu. This page is used to change the details about company. You can also change your own password and the details of your staff members who are registered as ProVision users.

Changing your password

To change your password,

  1. Go to Settings, then click Password Change.
  2. Enter current password in the Old Password field, then enter details in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
  3. Click Save.

Changing your company details

If you are a BusinessPartner Administrator, you can change the company details if required. To change your company details,

  1. Click Company Administration.
  2. Click in the fields you want to change and overtype the existing information, then click Save to store the changes.

Changing other staff members' details

To change the details of registered staff,

  1. Select Company Administration from the menu.
  2. Click Staff Administration.
  3. Click on the required staff member record from the list to change. The staff member’s details are displayed.
  4. Go to the fields you want to change and overtype the information displayed.
  5. Click Save, to save the changes. The list of staff members is displayed to make necessary changes.

Changing a staff member's password

To change a staff member’s password:

  1. Click Company Administration, then click Staff Administration.
  2. Click on the required staff member record from the list to change. The staff member’s details are displayed.
  3. Click Reset Password. A password is generated and automatically sent to the user.

Deleting a staff member

To remove required staff member record,

  1. Click Company Administration, then click Staff Administration.
  2. Click on the required staff member record from the list to change. The staff member’s details are displayed.
  3. Click Delete User.

The Documents help you access complete technical information, FAQs and latest demos and training about ProVision. You can click on the link to browse through all the records of a particular type of document; for example, all the FAQs. You can also search any or all of the document categories by entering multiple keywords.

Browsing the lists of documents

To find a document by browsing the lists,

  1. Click the link for the type of document to view. The list of all the resources of that type in the library and a brief overview of their contents is displayed..
  2. Click View.

Searching for a document

To search for a document,

  1. Enter one or more keywords for your search.
  2. Check the boxes beside the types of documents you want to include in the search.
  3. Select a period from the Newer Than drop-down list to define how far back in time you want to search.
  4. Click the Search button to start the search.  The site displays a list of documents that match the criteria you entered in your search.
  5. To view a document, click View.
